A robust public education system is the surest way to guarantee the building blocks for our future. As a County Commissioner I will fight to bring back financial incentives, like increased supplement pay for advanced degrees, to attract and attain the best educators possible.

Taxpayer funds allocated toward education in Forsyth County should be used to help fund our children's education, and as a County Commissioner I will make sure that those funds are making Winston-Salem/Forsyth County public schools the best schools in the state. Our current budget sends nearly $10 million dollars towards Charter Schools in the county. Under my education plan, any charter school that seeks public funding will have to annually meet performance and enrollment benchmarks.
